From the start, Idelco wanted to strategically invest in digitalisation. By going digital, they aimed at handling their processes and services efficiently, while adding some cost saving along the way too. To implement their ERP system, they put their trust in Expertum. In close cooperation, our SAP experts were given free rein to research what Idelco really needed to implement SAP’s ERP and even to develop a fully functioning and integrated warehouse management system.
Idelco appreciated how Expertum started from the standard processes that are available in SAP and then defined what could still be developed to respond even better to the company’s needs. In just four months, this close and trusting cooperation had a big impact on how the company operates today.
By mapping out and automating logistic processes, Idelco significantly reduced its operational costs. And by introducing an integrated warehouse management module, the system now receives input on what has been produced on the production side and then automatically instructs the automated forklifts to perform the required warehouse movements on the other side. Idelco is clearly pleased with the cooperation and readily admits how Expertum's know-how was crucial to the efficient and cost-effective warehouse they run today.
